Checklist of things I’m really really really stressed out about right now
So it’s been a while since I wrote anything here, usually I just reblog pictures of cats. Right now the time is 3:30am and I’m wide awake despite having to be up in about four hours which isn’t great. I’m pretty stressed about a lot of things right now and these things have a knack for snowballing when you know you have to get up in the morning. Anyway I hear this is how girls deal with their problems so I’m going to try it too so here is a list of things that make my life so totally hard. Number one: boyz.
1. My uni work - Not just assignments but I’ve taken a ridiculous amount on this term including the uni label, four ensembles and other stuff. Now this is awesome because music is pretty much the thing that I’m good at, structured planning and scheduling however is not.
2. My backing band - Probably the big one for me. So we had our first gig a while ago and we got a great reception which was sick, however the other day the guitarist was nice enough to reveal that in fact he can’t play the upcoming tour which by the way is in a few weeks. Great. Add that on top of the fact that I affectively have no guitar and nobody to fill for the other guy on electrical noodle duty and you’ve got a recipe for a mediocre band.
3. My job - Current status: Unemployed. Which is alright except I’ve got no money for food and I’ve been raised to believe that food is kind of important if you want to play the not-dead game.
4. My health. Right now I’m pretty frigging ill.
I need a hug.
